Privacy notice

Who we are

All Out Consulting is the trading name of Susan Mac Nicol, a sole trader, who is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about privacy at contact@alloutconsulting.uk.

What we collect

• When you email us: your name, email address, and anything you include in your message, such as your job title, firm and what you need help with.
• When we work together: business contact details and the information needed to deliver and invoice the work agreed with your firm.

This website has no contact forms, analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not set cookies.

How we use it and why

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss possible work. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
• To deliver services and manage the business relationship. Our lawful basis is the contract with your firm and our legitimate interests.
• To keep business and accounting records. Our lawful basis is legal obligation.

We do not sell your information or use it for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the business:

• Google Workspace for email and documents.
• Netlify, which hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
• Google Fonts, which provides the typeface used on this site. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which receives your IP address.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or addendum, or adequacy regulations.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for six years after the end of the engagement, for legal and accounting purposes, then deleted.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or transfer it. To make a request, email contact@alloutconsulting.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
